Whenever you are in Decatur, The Wharf is a must! My first week in Decatur we found this little place that did not disappoint. First the service, it doesn’t get much friendlier than The Wharf. Whether you’re a regular or new to the place they make you feel like you belong. Cori will welcome you when you walk in and never forget your name or order. Ashlyn will wow you with her speed and overall fun attitude. All around, everyone working, and they work hard are great! The atmosphere is something else! I may be a little biased, I love a sea motif. It’s the place you would expect all the fishermen end their nights at after a day on the water. It needs to be seen to experience fully. Lastly, the food. I cannot emphasize how the quality of everything on the menu is the highest standard. Every dish looks as wonderful as it tastes. The presentation of each dish is so appealing that it is difficult to choose what to order. The cooking is at such a high bar, every bite is a perfect bite. They make it easy to need to return to explore the menu, which is balanced perfectly. Highly recommend the walleye sandwich! The drinks! How could I forget them? I was just there last night for the first time for my mother's 69th birthday. I adore the atmosphere of a local hole in the wall joint so I immediately felt the warmth. I went for the chipotle burger and it was seriously the best burger I've had since moving to Illinois. It was as good as any burger I've had in California if not better. The service was awesome too, she was so nice and we fist bumped Illinois making it to the Final Four! =)

I came down from Chicago as a tourist. I have never experienced fried sliced mushrooms till I got here. I don’t think I could ever go back to whole mushrooms. The batter was so light and flavorful that’s including the onion rings. I originally got the garlic cheese carts. They were so delicious that I ended up ordering later on in our meal the spicy cheese curds. A spicy cheese curds Will creep up on you and the heat will stay with you but in a good way and not as a punishment. I asked the waitress about the batter and she had said that everything is battered by hand. Before I go onto our main meal, I have to rave about the ranch! Thick tangy housemade; I wanted to take this back to Chicago. The Warf Burger was delicious but the Canadian bacon put it over the top and the grilled onions were a touch of perfection. The mashed potatoes was a bit basic but that gravey was absolutely fire! The buffalo chicken horseshoe was thick! So much cheese (who’s complaining?)! The chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. The buffalo sauce was a great contrast with all that cheese. They serve Pepsi drinks.

We had a lovely meal at The Wharf in Decatur, located behind a gas station by the post office. I've had this restaurant on my must-try list for a while now, as I always enjoy venturing out on road trips to discover new dining spots. Upon entering, you get to choose your own seats, and there's a cozy fireplace in the center of the restaurant to keep you warm during the winter months. Our waitress was super friendly and efficient, and our food arrived promptly. I opted for the fish sandwich, which was absolutely delicious, especially when paired with their unique and tasty tartar sauce. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals, and we will definitely be returning to The Wharf in the future. A great dining experience overall! #bucketlist

Love places like this!! Was so excited to try the food and was not disappointed. First off, they have Pepsi for all us Pepsi Lovers. The Chicken Liver Appetizer is awesome. Everything we ordered was great. Walleye, Catfish, country fried steak and the burger. Definitely going back next time we in Decatur.
